WALT read back our writing

This term we have been learning about how to write awesome stories. We started by drawing pictures and talking about our ideas. Then we started writing our ideas down in a sentence. We have even started using full stops! When we come and see Miss Donnell we check that our work makes sense by reading it to her.

WALT identify parts of a book.

The Zebras have been learning about what the different parts of a book are. We have learnt about what the front cover, back cover and spine are. Now we are learning what the title is and the role of the author and illustrator.

WALT count to 10.

The Sharks have been learning how to count to 10. We used teddy bears to help us to identify our numbers and put the in the correct order. Here is Coby having a try at counting to 10.
